Un Cherubino Pata et non un Courbet au Musée National d'Art Occidental de Tokyo !

Comment ne pas distinguer la patte de Cherubino Pata dans « Le Cheval à l’écurie » ? Aucun doute, le peintre tessinois, élève de Gustave Courbet a signé cette toile. Si on observe bien les mains du palefrenier avec son balai, on ne peut imaginer que Courbet ait pu concevoir cette toile. Il a sans doute supervisé le travail de l’étudiant.

Ce tableau mis en vente à Lucerne en Suisse en 2015 est signé en bas à gauche G. Courbet. Le personnage fume également la pipe comme le palefrenier de Tokyo. En plus, il lui ressemble étrangement. Ses mains sont traitées avec beaucoup de maladresse, ce qui amène forcément à penser que ces 2 tableaux sont de la même main.

Provenance du Cheval à l’écurie du Musée National d’Art Occidental de Tokyo.
